Rafael Vinhal’s Lot 004 hails from his Cerrado de Minas Gerais estate sitting at 980 masl, showcasing a masterful anaerobic natural process. This lot blends Catuai 62, Topazio, and Icatu varieties, creating a creamy‑bodied and lush cup. Expect vibrant notes of red grapes, coconut, and lavender, layered with tropical fruit, almond and floral undertones, and a gentle sweetness. The rich, creamy mouthfeel is a signature of Vinhal’s experimental fermentation approach, where the coffee is fermented for up to 158 hours, gently “thermal shocked” then slow‑dried, resulting in a complex, flavourful and lingering finish.
