We've signed the deal on a new warehouse in Albion, a move that secures the future of Fonzie Abbott for years to come. We're aiming to be operational in September.
Built from scratch, built for us
After a year of running close to capacity at our Newstead roastery, we now have the opportunity to design a roastery from the ground up around how we actually want to work. Every part of the layout will be built for optimal workflow, so we can spend more time on the things that matter: the coffee, the craft and our people.
The new venue will feature:
- Custom-built green bean silos from IMF
- Optimisation of our Probat roaster
- Purpose-built packaging and production areas
Beyond production, it will also become the new spiritual home for the brand, featuring event spaces and a cupping lab.

We're investing in the future of hospitality in Queensland, as our state becomes increasingly exciting.
As we grow, we want to ensure we continue to exceed expectations on the quality and consistency of our coffee and service.

Will my coffee taste different? The coffee will still be the same flavour you know and love, our goal is simply to improve consistency in flavour and delivery.
Is the same team still roasting my coffee? Yes, our team will not change.
Will there be any disruption to my orders during the move? No, we have a transition plan in place to ensure there is no disruption to orders.
